All surgeries and clinics are by appointment only.
Exceptionally, urgent cases will be seen without an appointment. Surgeries are held each morning and evening, Monday to Friday, except Thursday afternoon.
It is our aim to offer a wide range of appointment times to our patients. Please help us to achieve this aim by informing us in good time if you are unable to keep an appointment, thereby enabling us to offer the appointment to someone else.
Appointments are routinely ten-minute in length and are available with a doctor of your choice. Demand for these appointments can be very high and we suggest you book in advance.
A small number of appointments are reserved each day for those patients who have a more urgent need to see a doctor. These appointments are not intended for ongoing medical problems and cannot be booked before the day.
Routine doctor appointments can be booked online, you will need a username and password printing off for you to be able to do this, you will need to ask reception for this information.
A telephone surgery is available each morning, whereby details are taken by a receptionist and a doctor rings the patient for a consultation later that morning. If the doctor thinks the patient needs to be seen, the doctor will make them an appropriate appointment, either with a doctor or nurse practitioner for that day or as is felt necessary for your problem.
When our resident doctors are away, Locum doctors are sometimes employed to do surgeries and visits. All the Locum doctors employed here are fully qualified and have experience in general practice.
Routine appointments are available with a nurse at various times throughout the day. Demand for some appointment times can be high and you are advised to book in advance. Please inform the receptionist of the reason you wish to see the nurse at the time of booking, to ensure that adequate time is allowed for your appointment.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. You can cancel your appointment at any time of day using the automated telephone system.
You may be offered an extended hours appointment at one of the six GP access centres across Sheffield between 6.00pm and 10.00pm during the week, or between 10.00am and 6.00pm at weekends and Bank Holidays.
